What is the KCAI?
The Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour is the UK’s quality independently recognised stamp of quality for those delivering the highest standards of care and advice to dog owners.
It is the first and only scheme in the UK for Instructors in dog training and behaviour to be approved by City & Guilds NPTC – the biggest awarding body in the UK for vocational awards. For the first time in the UK, instructors involved in teaching dog training and advising on canine behaviour can, through the scheme, have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised, credible and externally verified qualification.
Those on the Scheme gain qualification by demonstrating a combination of qualifications and knowledge, and their applied knowledge, or hands on experience biggest awarding body in the UK for vocational awards.
